On 6th April with the organization of Imereti Olympic Committee and Kutaisi City Hall special event in regard to World Sport Day was held at Ninosvhli Park in Kutaisi. Event participants were pupils of Imereti Sport schools Unification, also pupils from different public schools of Kutaisi. Event was also attended by members of Kutaisi City Council and representatives of Olympic Committee.

Within the program of cooperation with Kutaisi City Call Georgian Scooters National Federation was present at the event. Electric scooters – as a new modern sport specie was presented to the interested public and the importance of eco-friendly transport was highlighted.

Student youth has shown high interest towards electric scooters, they had the chance to make test drives and many of them tried it. The cooperation of our federation and Imereti Olympic committee will continue – the goal of both parties will the development of scooter infrastructure in Imereti region and increase awareness of healthy transport alternative.
